BLACKPINK’s Jennie is the face of Chanel’s latest 25 Handbag Campaign. As a Chanel ambassador since 2017, this announcement marks another milestone in her partnership with the luxury brand. Jennie joins fellow music star Dua Lipa, who was unveiled as a campaign model earlier this year, further elevating the campaign’s global appeal and star power.
Complementing the stunning photographs is a campaign film directed by award-winning filmmaker Gordon von Steiner. Similar to the aesthetic of Dua Lipa’s campaign film, Jennie’s film advert adopts a music video-inspired style, showcasing Jennie navigating the vibrant streets of Manhattan and entering a photo studio. The film is set to the iconic Fine Young Cannibals track, “She Drives Me Crazy,” adding an energetic layer to the campaign.
Jennie’s Perspective on the Chanel 25 Handbag
“The Chanel 25 handbag symbolizes freedom of movement. It’s versatile and comfortable, and fits into a variety of situations and lifestyles, while allowing me to express my personal style in a unique way,” she stated.
She further highlighted its suitability for everyday use, particularly for travel and work, describing it as “the perfect everyday bag—light, easy to carry, and a must-have.”
“As someone who loves fashion, Chanel gives me constant inspiration and positive energy.”
