Despite sharing a child, Jung Woo-sung and Model Moon Ga-bi are not looking forward to having a traditional relationship. This doesn’t mean that they don’t plan to be present in their young son’s life, but marriage is reportedly not in the cards.

Jung Woo-sung Confirmed As the Father of Moon Ga-bi’s Son
Actor Jung Woo-sung, 51, has confirmed that he is the father to model Moon’s son months after she gave birth. Moon is said to have told Jung of her pregnancy in June 2023, before welcoming the baby in March 2024.
Jung seemingly touched on this during his November 2023 appearance on singer Sung Si-kyung’s YouTube channel, where he talked about marriage.
“It’s not that I didn’t get married, but that I couldn’t. I missed the right timing,” he replied to host Sung asking him why he isn’t married.
Reflecting on his past experiences as a famous actor, he said, “I was the first actor to openly admit having a girlfriend. Is it wrong for actors or celebrities to have someone by their side because of their fame? I think it’s a pity for us entertainers.”
On Nov. 24, his agent put out a statement officially confirming that he is the father of Moon’s son. The statement simply read, “The child Moon Ga-bi revealed on social media is indeed Jung Woo-sung’s biological child. Discussions are ongoing to decide the best approach to parenting, and Jung will fulfill his responsibilities as a father.”
According to Dispatch, the stars do not plan to have an official relationship and marriage is not something that’s on the table. However, it is believed that Jung has reached out to discuss postpartum care and financial support with her.
Moon had previously revealed on Friday, Nov. 22, that she has welcomed a baby son, though she refrained from mentioning the father’s identity. She admitted that the child’s conception had been “unexpected,” but that her family continues to stand behind her and support her.
She wrote, “As a new mother, I’ve found the courage to pursue a life of ordinary happiness. When the unexpected news came, I wasn’t prepared for it. Instead of fully celebrating the joy of pregnancy, I spent most of the time quietly with my family’s blessings, focusing entirely on the baby to come.”
Jung and Moon are said to have met at a gathering in 2022.
