Actress Kim Bo Ra and film director Jo Ba Reun have reached a mutual agreement to divorce. On May 10th KST, Kim Bo Ra’s agency, Noon Company, confirmed the separation to various media outlets.

A representative from Noon Company stated,

“After much consideration, Kim Bo Ra and Jo Ba Reun underwent divorce by mutual agreement. The couple recently completed all necessary procedures.”

The couple’s relationship began on the set of the 2021 horror film ‘Ghost Mansion,’ where Kim Bo Ra starred and Jo Ba Reun directed. After dating for three years, they celebrated their marriage in June of last year. This news comes approximately one year after their wedding.

Kim Bo Ra, who made her debut as a child actress in 2005, has built a notable career in the South Korean entertainment industry. She is recognized for her roles in popular dramas such as ‘Sky Castle,’ the recent ‘Like Flowers in Sand,’ and the film ‘Black Out.’

The news of the swift dissolution of their marriage has undoubtedly caught many off guard. Having met and fallen in love through their work in film, their union was seen by many as a promising one. 

While details surrounding the reasons for the divorce have not been disclosed, the confirmation of a “mutual agreement” indicates that the decision was reached collaboratively and with consideration for both parties involved.
