The opening stop of LE SSERAFIM‘s first world tour, ‘EASY CRAZY HOT‘, in Incheon this past weekend was undoubtedly a special occasion for the rising girl group. However, it wasn’t just the FEARNOTs who were deeply moved by the performances and the members’ heartfelt words. Reports are surfacing online that HYBE chairman and LE SSERAFIM‘s executive producer, Bang Si Hyuk, was visibly emotional during the concerts held at Inspire Arena on April 19th and 20th.

Eyewitness accounts from the audience shared across social media suggest that Bang Si Hyuk appeared particularly touched during the members’ closing remarks on both nights. The focus of many of these observations centered around Huh Yunjin‘s deeply personal and raw speech on the final night. Several fans even speculated that the veteran producer might have been shedding tears as he listened intently to the group’s reflections.

Huh Yunjin’s poignant words offered a glimpse into the challenges LE SSERAFIM has faced since their last tour two years ago. She openly shared a moment of vulnerability from the past year, recounting a phone call with a company staff member where she questioned their path forward.

“Last year, I remember crying in a hotel room on the phone with a company staff member, asking, ‘What should we do now?’ ‘Can we even see the road ahead?’ ‘What’s real and what’s not?’” she confessed.

Her speech continued with a powerful message of resilience:

“At the time, we couldn’t see even a step ahead. But we had no choice but to keep moving forward. This past year has been a rollercoaster of emotions. It was tough, but giving up felt unfair. So many people were supporting us—how could I possibly give up?”

For those who have followed the recent happenings within HYBE, Bang Si Hyuk’s reported emotional reaction carries extra weight. The past year saw the HYBE chairman embroiled in a conflict with ADOR‘s CEO, Min Hee Jin, a situation that inevitably cast a shadow over several of HYBE’s artists, including LE SSERAFIM

Having worked closely with LE SSERAFIM since their debut, Bang Si Hyuk has undoubtedly witnessed firsthand the group’s journey, including any hardships they may have encountered. To see them not only overcome these challenges but also command the stage with such confidence and emotion during their first world tour must have been a powerful and moving experience.
