Former FIFTY FIFTY members Aran, Saena, and Sio are embarking on a new chapter as the trio ablume, and they’re set to release their first single album, aptly titled ‘Echo‘, next month.

ablume‘s official debut is scheduled for May 9th at 12 PM KST. This exciting news, announced on April 25th KST, marks a fresh start for the three talented artists.

Adding an intriguing layer to this debut is the involvement of Ahn Sung Il PD of The Givers, who will be producing ‘Echo’. This name will undoubtedly ring a bell for those who followed the tumultuous journey of the former FIFTY FIFTY members.

As many will recall, 2023 saw Aran, Saena, and Sio embroiled in a legal battle with their former agency, ATTRAKT. The agency filed a substantial damages lawsuit against the members, their parents, and Ahn Sung Il of The Givers, alleging artist tampering and demanding a staggering 13 billion KRW in compensation. In response, the trio counter-sued ATTRAKT, claiming a failure to provide correct payments and demanding approximately 301 million KRW in unpaid earnings.

Interestingly, this debut comes at a time when their former group, FIFTY FIFTY, is also gearing up for a comeback. ATTRAKT‘s revamped FIFTY FIFTY is set to release their 3rd mini album, ‘Day & Night‘, on April 29th KST.

Given their past journey, what kind of sound and message do you anticipate from ablume‘s debut single album ‘Echo‘? Let us know in the comment section below.
