Are BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Maroon 5 collaborating?

The buzz started earlier this month when Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, confirming the band’s highly anticipated comeback this year. He revealed plans for a new single, slated for release this month, followed by a full album by summer. The excitement has grown as of late too because of some intriguing clues that have surfaced online, pointing towards a possible collaboration with none other than Lisa of BLACKPINK.

The first spark ignited on April 23rd when Maroon 5’s official Instagram account posted a cryptic photo. The image featured a man and a woman, their backs turned to the camera, silhouetted against a stunning night cityscape from within a skyscraper. While their faces weren’t visible, eagle-eyed netizens quickly began to speculate. Many believe the woman in the photo bears a striking resemblance to Lisa, noting her distinct build and style.

Maroon 5’s Instagram account was also spotted liking Lisa’s recent Instagram post from Coachella Day 2.

Netizens dug deeper and discovered that Maroon 5’s photographer, Travis Hartley Schneider, has recently started following Lisa, her newly established record label LLOUD, and her managers, Alice and Chase, on Instagram. This significant follow spree strongly suggests a professional connection.

Perhaps the most telling piece of evidence came from Lisa’s own camp. Her makeup artist, Maeng, shared the very same mysterious collaboration photo on their Instagram story. What made this even more significant? They accompanied the post with Lisa’s solo hit, “Lalisa,” playing in the background, along with the enthusiastic caption: “I can’t wait!”

What are your thoughts on this potential collaboration? Let us know in the comments below!
