Zoo Yong Gyun took to Instagram on February 18th to share these precious photos. The pictures showcase Jungkook in two distinct looks. One set features him sporting the full denim outfit from his appearance at the 2023 Calvin Klein event in Tokyo. The other set highlights the classic Calvin Klein sherpa trucker jacket from the brand’s 2023 autumn collection ad campaign. Both looks perfectly embody Jungkook’s effortless style and charisma.
These unreleased photos are a welcome surprise for fans, especially as Jungkook is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service. It’s a reminder of his impactful presence and a way to keep him close to our hearts during his time away.
Jungkook’s Heartfelt Message to ARMY
Just days before the photos were released, on February 15th, Jungkook shared a touching update with ARMY on Weverse. He expressed how he sometimes imagines himself with ARMY in photos, a thought that brings him joy. He also candidly shared his feelings of doubt, wondering if these happy moments are just figments of his imagination. However, he reassured fans, promising to create even more beautiful memories together, even amidst his doubts.
“But even in that doubt, I’ll make sure to create even more beautiful memories than those imagined. Of course, I need to put in the effort,” he wrote.
Jungkook enlisted alongside fellow BTS member Jimin on December 12, 2023. He is currently serving as a corporal in the 5th Infantry Division of the South Korean Army. His expected discharge date is June 11, 2025.
