A startling new development has emerged in the ongoing narrative surrounding the late actress Kim Sae Ron, with her ex-boyfriend, identified as Mr. K, vehemently denying any connection between actor Kim Soo Hyun and her tragic passing.

Ex-Boyfriend’s Testimony Contradicts Previous Claims

On March 25th KST, Mr. K gave an exclusive interview to The Fact, offering a contrasting perspective to the previously circulated allegations. He asserted that Kim Sae Ron’s despair stemmed from her family’s perceived indifference, not from any involvement with Kim Soo Hyun.

Mr. K revealed text messages between himself and Kim Sae Ron, as well as messages from a man believed to be her “New York husband,” who allegedly sent abusive messages to Mr. K. Kim Sae Ron’s messages detailed a tumultuous relationship, expressing feelings of isolation and fear.

“He yells and hits me, but nothing changes,” she wrote in one text.

Details of Kim Sae Ron’s Troubled Relationship and Isolation

According to Mr. K, Kim Sae Ron’s “New York husband” began threatening her with leaked conversations and photos, hacked her social media, and subjected her to physical and verbal abuse. She expressed feeling trapped and terrified.

Kim Sae Ron also described feeling profound loneliness and a desperate need for support, which initially led her to seek comfort elsewhere. However, this eventually turned into a cycle of fear and abuse.

Family’s Indifference Cited as a Major Factor

Mr. K painted a picture of a young woman deeply affected by her family’s alleged coldness. He recounted an incident where Kim Sae Ron suffered a self-inflicted wrist injury on November 1st of the previous year, requiring emergency surgery. Despite being notified, her family reportedly did not visit her in the hospital. Mr. K stayed with her until her discharge, and a staff member from her former agency covered the hospital fees.

“After her discharge, I took her home. But when we arrived, her mother was casually dining with a friend and showed no surprise or sympathy. That kind of indifference is what made Sae Ron constantly want to run away from everything,” Mr. K stated.

He also shared a photo of a self-inflicted neck wound, highlighting the severity of her distress.

Denial of Kim Soo Hyun’s Involvement and Condemnation of Allegations

Mr. K strongly refuted the allegations connecting Kim Soo Hyun to Kim Sae Ron’s death.

“As someone who truly knew her, I find it absurd that someone claiming to be her aunt is suddenly stepping in and using the family’s name to imply that her death was due to problems with Kim Soo Hyun,” he said. “I’ve never met Kim Soo Hyun, but I imagine he must feel wronged being blamed like this simply because he’s famous.”

Mr. K provided an affidavit with his national ID number and fingerprint, attesting to the veracity of his statements.

Kim Soo Hyun’s Response and Legal Action

In the midst of escalating allegations, Kim Soo Hyun has suspended all public activities. His agency, Gold Medalist, has filed a criminal complaint against the YouTube channel Garosero Institute, which released photos and claimed he dated Kim Sae Ron while she was a minor.

The conflicting accounts from Mr. K and Kim Sae Ron’s family have added a complex layer to the ongoing investigation. What are your thoughts on his interview? Let me know in the comment section below.
