Actor Lee Jun Hyuk, a name increasingly synonymous with versatility and captivating performances, recently graced the cover of ELLE MAN Korea, offering insights into his burgeoning popularity and recent projects.

Stylish Transformation for ELLE MAN Korea

Showcasing his signature charisma, Lee Jun Hyuk effortlessly modeled LOEWE apparel for the magazine’s photoshoot. From intense gazes to playful poses, he demonstrated his ability to embody diverse concepts, solidifying his status as a fashion icon.

Navigating Rising Popularity with Humility

In the subsequent interview, Lee Jun Hyuk addressed his growing popularity.

“I’ve just started my next project, so I’m in a bit of a whirlwind. But I do feel like I’m getting more work,” he shared.

However, he emphasized the importance of staying grounded, stating,

“The staff and people around me seem even more excited about it than I am, but I always tell [myself and them], ‘Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.’ In this kind of situation, I just think, ‘The drama must have been a success.’”

“Love Scout” and the Idealistic Father Figure

Lee Jun Hyuk recently showcased his versatility in projects like “The Roundup: No Way Out,” “Dongjae, The Good or the Bastard,” and “Love Scout.” Discussing his role as a devoted father in “Love Scout,” he explained,

“I don’t think this drama was meant to depict the realities of parenting. There are projects that highlight real-life issues and push for change, while others present an ideal vision. Even if it feels like a fantasy, sometimes we need something that gives us strength and sets an aspirational standard. This time, I wanted to go in the latter direction.”

Maintaining Artistic Integrity Throughout a 20-Year Career

When asked about the driving force behind his 20-year acting career, Lee Jun Hyuk revealed his commitment to separating his personal identity from his roles.

“I think I’ve always kept my characters strictly separate from myself. In fact, I tend to be afraid of stepping into the spotlight,” he confessed. He added, “But just as my presence can be rediscovered or recreated through different projects—or even in today’s photoshoot where I’m holding flowers—I believe ‘Lee Jun Hyuk’ as an actor can always be reinterpreted.”

Fans can delve deeper into Lee Jun Hyuk’s insights and enjoy his stunning pictorial in the March issue of ELLE MAN Korea. His thoughtful reflections and continued dedication to his craft solidify his position as one of South Korea’s most compelling actors.
