During a segment of the show where host Yoo Jae Suk was teasing Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, Key made a comment that connected Yuri’s feelings to the admiration people currently have for celebrities, specifically mentioning Byeon Woo-Seok. Key stated that the strong positive feelings people have for Byeon Woo-Seok right now are similar to having affection for someone in your own life.

Yoo Jae Suk agreed with Key’s observation, acknowledging Byun Woo Seok’s current high level of popularity by simply saying,

“Woo Seok is really something.” Key further emphasized the actor’s impact by mentioning that many people around him, including those his own age, have even set Byun Woo Seok as their phone wallpaper.

Yoo Jae Suk provided further context to Byeon Woo-Seok’s current fame, explaining that while the actor has been active in the industry for some time, his popularity has recently increased significantly. This “sudden jump” in fame is what many people are currently noticing and reacting to.

Key then revealed that his awareness of Byeon Woo-Seok goes back to his modeling days, prior to his acting career gaining significant traction. While clarifying that they were not close friends, Key emphasized that he has been aware of Byun Woo Seok for a while and is genuinely pleased to see him achieving such great success now.

A humorous moment occurred when Yuri, seemingly having missed Key’s earlier point about not being close to Byeon Woo-Seok, asked if they had been close before. Key responded with a laugh, clearly stating again,

“I just said we weren’t close.” Yuri playfully explained that she was just curious and wanted to hear more details, which caused everyone on set to laugh.
