Spread the love

The boys of TXT will be taking five, not only to rest and unplug, but to spend time with family ahead of the upcoming holidays. It’s only fitting given the way the boys endured a busy 2024, spending most of it on the road for their ‘Act: Promise’ tour.

Here’s what they have to say about their planned absence from the spotlight.

TXT’s Break Will Reportedly Get Them Ready For An “Extraordinary 2025”

On December 10, the band’s label BIGHIT MUSIC released a statement to update fans on TXT’s upcoming activities, and it turns out that there will be none. The boys’ assignment during this time is to rest and recharge and come back stronger.

“We would like to provide an update regarding the upcoming break for the members of TOMORROW X TOGETHER,” TXT wrote. “Following their schedule at the 39th Golden Disc Awards on January 5 (KST), TOMORROW X TOGETHER will conclude their activities for 2024 and embark on a long-term break.”

They continued, detailing how the boys’ plan to spend their time away from the spotlight, “During this time, the members plan to spend quality moments with their families and take time to rest, preparing to return to MOA with an extraordinary 2025 ahead. We kindly ask for your warm support and thoughtful understanding as the members each spend this time in their own ways. TOMORROW X TOGETHER will come back with an even more remarkable presence to show their gratitude for MOA’s love.”

Prior to this news, group leader Soobin had gone on a temporary hiatus due to health issues in November.

TXT’s Spent A Busy 2024 Touring And Releasing Music

Since their debut in 2019, the group has been pretty consistent in their music activities, releasing singles that are deeply relatable to their fandom and extending their touring activities overseas.

In 2019, the five-member band, which is comprised of Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai, embarked on their first international tour, with a six-show debut showcase in six American cities—New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando, and Atlanta—over the course of two weeks, from May 9 to 24. Within 24 hours, tickets to all six shows were sold out.

This year, they embarked on their third world tour, along with releasing their sixth EP, ‘Minisode 3: Tomorrow,’ on April 1, 2024.
