Are BTS V and IU besties?
Photos allegedly showing BTS‘s V and IU dining together at a high-end restaurant in Seoul were shared by fan online.
The netizen, who claims to have spotted the two at the renowned MOSU restaurant, shared their experience, stating,
“I saw V at MOSU TTTTTT. I was always calm no matter what celebrity I ran into.. But V, I’m not even a fan but he’s not human. His skin looks like it was blurred by 100 percent.. And his face is 100 percent eyes.. I’m still awestruck.. Well, at least I got to take a pic(?).”
The grainy photos circulating show a man, believed to be V, sitting across from a woman wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a casual flannel shirt. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out the flannel shirt, suggesting it strongly resembled one frequently seen on IU.
Adding another layer to the speculation is the timing of this alleged dinner. Today, May 16th, KST, marks IU’s 32nd birthday. Could this have been a pre-birthday celebration between the two?
This isn’t the first time V and IU have sparked public interest. V famously starred as the male lead in IU’s poignant “Love Wins All” music video, released in January 2024. Furthermore, V was also spotted among the audience at IU’s encore concert in Seoul in September of the same year.
