Heartfelt Message from Jackson Wang at GOT7’s NESTFEST Concert
Beyond the world of fashion, Wang recently shared a deeply personal and emotional message with fans during the final night of GOT7‘s NESTFEST concert in Seoul, South Korea. The concert, held at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium, concluded on Sunday, February 2nd, and saw all the members giving heartfelt speeches to their dedicated Ahgase (GOT7‘s fandom).
Wang’s speech was particularly poignant, touching on the realities of the music industry, his personal struggles as a solo artist, and, most importantly, his unwavering love for GOT7 and their fans. He emphasized the strong and irreplaceable bond shared between the members, despite their current affiliations with different agencies.
A particularly moving moment came when Wang recounted a story shared by GOT7’s leader, Jay B. He described how, before the members’ debut, the GOT7 project was on the verge of cancellation, with the foreign members facing potential repatriation. Wang then revealed Jay B’s powerful words from that time:
“Before going to bed last night, I watched our debut performance and I remembered how the GOT7 project was about to be canceled and the foreigners were about to be sent back home. Then JAY B hyung in front of the fridge, told me and Mark that he couldn’t send us home. If we do this, we’ll do it together. If we die, we die together. I’m so thankful. Without that moment, we wouldn’t be here on this stage. Thank you hyung.”
