The news about the new album arrived via The Korea Herald after SM Entertainment dropped an official announcement. More exciting updates arrived: On Tuesday, August 13, fans will get a special preview with the early release of the B-side track, “Surf” ahead of the full album drop. Earlier reports hinted at a summer-themed song, which SM Entertainment later confirmed.

The good news kept on coming, and NCT WISH will launch their first concert tour, “Into the Wish Our Wish,” this November. The tour begins with a two-day show in Incheon, South Korea, followed by 13 additional stops across Asia.

The news comes after their second EP, “poppop,” achieved impressive success. Actually, it sold over 1.3 million copies which was great news for the rookie group’s first million-seller just five months ago.

More Info About The J-Pop Band

If you’re not familiar with NCT WISH, they are the sixth and final sub-unit of the K-pop group NCT. Formed through a collaboration between SM Entertainment and Avex Trax, this Japanese-focused boy band consists of six members: Sion, Jaehee, Riku, Yushi, Ryo, and Sakuya. The group made their debut on February 28, 2024, with their first single, “Wish.”

Guided by SM director BoA, the band released multiple EPs and singles. Their latest track, “Surf,” drops on August 12, 2025. While they are part of the larger NCT universe, NCT WISH primarily targets the J-pop market, blending K-pop’s dynamic energy with Japanese musical influences.
