On March 27th, Garosero Research Institute (HoverLab) revealed explosive allegations concerning actors Kim Soo Hyun and the late Kim Sae Ron supossed relationship. The revelations, which include video footage, private chats, and shocking claims of mistreatment, have ignited widespread controversy.

Video Evidence and Allegations of Inappropriate Behavior

HoverLab released a video purportedly showing Kim Soo Hyun filming a mannequin dressed in underwear in Paris and sending it to Kim Sae Ron. They asserted that this video was inappropriate, especially considering Kim Sae Ron’s alleged minor status at the time. This video has become a central point of contention, raising serious questions about the nature of their relationship.

Kim Sae Ron’s Claims of a Six-Year Relationship and Emotional Distress

According to HoverLab, Kim Sae Ron confided in a friend that her relationship with Kim Soo Hyun was “real and factual.” She expressed feeling unfairly labeled “crazy” after posting an old photo of them together. Her friend corroborated these claims, stating that Kim Sae Ron had dated Kim Soo Hyun for six years while still a minor.

Furthermore, HoverLab shared distressing messages reportedly from Kim Sae Ron, including one where she stated, “I want to die.” These messages allegedly came after her former agency, Gold Medalist, demanded repayment of 700 million KRW (approximately $532,000). She claimed the agency was essentially telling her to “just kill myself,” alleging they manipulated her into paying the full penalty amount despite a supposed 70:30 agreement.

It was also stated Kim Sae Ron had attempted to deliver a letter to Kim Soo Hyun at his home, regarding the 700 million KRW request, but was stopped by security.

Her friend alleged that Kim Soo Hyun could have offered financial support, given their reported six-year relationship.

Accusations Against Kim Soo Hyun, Dispatch, and Gold Medalist

HoverLab accused Kim Soo Hyun of sharing Kim Sae Ron’s private messages with Dispatch, deeming it morally problematic. They also criticized Dispatch journalist Kim So Jung for publishing KakaoTalk messages without Kim Sae Ron’s consent.

Furthermore, they alleged that Gold Medalist, along with Dispatch and Kim Soo Hyun, contributed to the immense pressure that ultimately led to Kim Sae Ron’s reported death on February 16, 2025—coincidentally Kim Soo Hyun’s birthday. HoverLab also stated Kim Soo Hyun celebrating his birthday with the caption “Good Day” was an insensitive act.

HoverLab also revealed recordings confirming that Go Song Ah, the head of Kim Sae Ron’s new agency, Run Entertainment, paid for her hospital expenses after a self-harm incident. They suggested that Kwak Tae Young may have leaked these recordings to Gold Medalist, drawing further criticism.

What are your thoughts on these new revelations and the video that Kim Soo Hyun allegedly sent Kim Sae Ron?
