Netizens were excited today as news broke of G-DRAGON’s unexpected guest appearance at fellow BIGBANG member Daesungs concert. Following recent criticisms regarding his vocal performances, many approached G-DRAGON’s appearance with a mix of anticipation and apprehension. However, the overwhelming sentiment online following his set suggests a significant improvement, hinting at a potential recovery from the previous controversy.

Fan accounts and snippets of his performance quickly flooded social media, painting a picture of a revitalized artist. One fan exclaimed,

“3BANG sang ‘Bang Bang Bang’ and ‘Sober’ and he sang ‘Power’ + ‘Home Sweet Home’ and his live was freaking good! I was expecting this a bit but seeing it again, I’m speechless. The vocal powerhouse puppy blasted my ears open with singing, and oppa smashed it with his rap. The ad-lib in ‘Sober’s’ intro was freaking good. I keep replaying it. This is the G-Dragon I knew!”

Several other fan comments further highlighted this positive shift. One fan confidently stated,

“He was always good so I believed that he would recover. I want to go to his encore concert.”

Another fan noted an improvement in his physical well-being, commenting,

“Wow, I was worried but seems like the condition of his vocals have gotten better.”

While some acknowledged that there’s still room for further improvement, the overall consensus leaned towards a noticeable positive change.

“He’s still a bit nasally but he sounds way better. I feel like he’s working on the feedback he received on his singing skills,” one fan thoughtfully pointed out.

Even those who were more critical in the past seemed to acknowledge the progress, with one saying,

“He was the worst before so of course he got better. I feel like even now, his singing style is hard to listen to.”

One particularly insightful comment read,

“It’s better than last time, but the feeling of being better than that time is just over, so I don’t know why I was criticizing at that time. He’s a person who is very good at the stage and has a lot of talent, so I think the group stage is better covered. Of course, since I know his voice in his heyday, I hope that his vocal condition will improve more and it seems to be coming back little by little.”

G-DRAGON’s surprise appearance at Daesung’s concert seems to have offered a glimmer of hope to fans who were concerned about his vocal abilities. While some caution remains, the overwhelming positive reactions suggest a significant step forward in his recovery.
