Amidst the ongoing legal battle surrounding the group NewJeans (NJZ), netizens were met with a surprising announcement today, April 25th, 2025. Team Bunnies (@NewJeansSTRM on X) revealed that an Indomie pop-up store, featuring official merchandise branded with NJZ, is set to open its doors in Seoul.

This unexpected news comes shortly after a recent court ruling that sided with ADOR, preventing NJZ from engaging in independent promotional activities.

Scheduled to run from May 1st to May 13th, 2025, the pop-up store will be located in the trendy Seongsu district of Seoul. It promises a unique experience for fans, offering free Indomie tastings and exclusive NJZ-branded merchandise. Limited edition photocards of the group members will also be available for purchase.

Sneak peeks of the store setup reveal creative touches, with tables arranged to resemble giant cup noodles, immersing visitors in the Indomie theme. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample various Indomie flavors and capture memorable moments with NJZ cutouts scattered throughout the space.

The sudden announcement of this pop-up store has understandably taken many fans by surprise. Given the recent court ruling restricting NewJeans independent promotions, a key question on everyone’s mind is whether the members themselves will make an appearance at the store to promote the event and interact with fans.

The contrast between the legal limitations on NewJeans‘s activities and the launch of this branded pop-up raises questions about the extent of ADOR’s involvement or approval in this venture. It remains unclear how this pop-up aligns with the court’s decision.
