SHINee‘s Taemin has addressed the recent dating rumors linking him to popular dancer NO:ZE. In a heartfelt message to fans via the communication platform Bubble, Taemin opened up about the situation, expressing his feelings amidst the ongoing speculation.

“You’ve been having a hard time with everything that’s been going on lately, right? I feel so sorry and apologetic because my fans love me so much,” Taemin began.

He went on to share the emotional toll the rumors have taken, stating,

“It’s been really upsetting due to all the misunderstandings caused by fragmented information and seemingly convincing words. I’ve thought a lot about how I could convey the truth. But as you probably know, even a single word can lead to more misunderstandings and more things to explain.”.

Adding insight into his reserved approach, Taemin explained,

“Not everyone, but many people tend to want to hear the answer they prefer rather than the truth… So maybe that’s why, after going through various things since I was young, I’ve learned to hold back on speaking too much.”

Despite the difficulties, Taemin concluded his message with a powerful affirmation of trust and gratitude towards his fans.

“What’s certain is that I hope you’ll continue to trust me like you always have. And in return for that trust, the love, and the sincerity you’ve given me, I’ll do my best to be someone who gives back. I’m always grateful, and I love you.”

The dating rumors between Taemin and NO:ZE ignited on April 16th after photos circulated online allegedly showing the two in close proximity, including instances of arm-in-arm walking or embracing. The speculation was further fueled by previous, albeit unsubstantiated, links between the two, who have reportedly worked together as colleagues.

Following the spread of these rumors, on April 17th, Taemin’s agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment, issued an official statement denying any romantic involvement. They clarified,

“They are just close colleagues who have worked together. We ask that people refrain from excessive speculation.”

Taemin’s personal statement today echoes his agency’s denial while also offering fans a direct glimpse into his feelings about the situation.
