Jin may be the last BTS member to release a solo album, but he is packing up scores and chart achievements as well. It may have been a long wait, but I’m going to go ahead and say that it was worth it based on how great the fan reception has been to the record since it was released.

Jin’s Songs Dominate the Charts, as Mini-album Drops Off

‘Happy’ may be falling on most Billboard album charts, but the songs continue to perform individually. Last week, Jin dominated the World Digital Song Sales chart, and this week, he continues to hold at number one, but not with the same song.

This week, ‘Falling’ rose from No. 4 to No. 1 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, replacing last week’s winner, ‘Running Wild.’ Jin previously opened up about the inspiration behind ‘Running Wild,‘ saying, “With “Running Wild,” I wanted to create a track full of energy. I hope it inspires people to keep moving forward — whether that means running, working out or just pushing themselves to overcome a challenge.”

With ‘Falling’ notching the top spot on this week’s World Digital Song Sales chart, he matches two of his bandmates, Suga and J-Hope, for the most rulers among the seven BTS members.

The first time Jin claimed the top spot on the chart ranking was way back in 2021 with “Yours.” The following year, he managed to score two consecutive number ones with the singles, “Super Tuna” and “The Astronaut.”

However, this year has seen him score more number ones than in any other year, with four other solo tracks entering the top 5 on the chart.

J-Hope and Suga – who also releases music as Agust D – are tied with six No. 1s on the same ranking.

This is coming after Jin shutdown rumors that he is considering leaving BTS behind to become a full-time solo musician. “The only band I, now and forever, will be part of is BTS. Band music is a genre I’m personally interested in, and I enjoy exploring different styles as a solo artist,” he said, going on to add that he misses his BTS bandmates and can’t wait to be back in the studio or onstage with them.

That’s good to hear, because we need all seven members together for that promised 2025 reunion.
