Super Junior‘s leader, Leeteuk, has taken to social media to express his anger and issue a stark warning to a sasaeng fan who trespassed into his private residence.
On April 10th KST, the idol shared a message on his Instagram story, addressing the invasive behavior. His post read:
“Trespassing into someone’s home. It’s alarming that there are still brainless sasaeng fans out there. This is the second time. I’m warning you, if you break in again, I will publicly reveal your personal information and report you to the police.”
This incident is not an isolated one, as Leeteuk has been vocal in the past about the distress caused by overly obsessive “fans” engaging in sasaeng behavior. Sasaengs, known for their intrusive and often illegal actions in pursuit of idols, have long been a troubling issue within the K-pop industry. Their actions, ranging from constant unsolicited contact to invading personal spaces, can cause significant emotional distress and even pose safety risks to the artists.
This incident comes at a time when Super Junior and their fans are gearing up to celebrate the group’s significant 20th debut anniversary. With a comeback album and various special events planned.
