The multi-talented entertainer who performed very well in major dramas like The Penthouse: War in Life and took a smooth transition from K-pop to acting revealed the time when she faced a memorable challenge: a co-star with bad breath.

This week, Korea Boo reported on the story that happened to her. They noticed it on her YouTube channel, when she and her husband, Tae Ki Young, were dining out. There, they were messing about and talking about food, when the story came about an experience with bad breath.

The couple related a story about how hard acting can be. If it’s not someone forgetting their lines, it’s someone with breath that smelled so bad, she could hardly bear it.
A Disgusting Experience
Forgetting lines seemed way better. So, Eugene told her husband, “Even then, it’s better than someone whose breath smells like a sewer.”
Next, they discussed how the production team tried to convince her to carry on by saying that she could simply hold her breath. However, the actress replied with a great and obvious argument.
Not unreasonably, she raised the question, “could you please tell me how you can hold your breath? You have to talk to your co-star. How can I answer if I’m not breathing?”
Did It Really Happen?
The anecdote wasn’t made up, either. Actually, Eugene confirmed the situation really happened to her. Without naming names, she confessed that it was a female star whose breath was extremely “overpowering.” Actually it seemed quite disgusting and many K-pop and k-drama fans could relate to the unpleasantness.
The couple’s overall conversation seemed relatable to their fans. Many of them talked about food, good looks, and acting. However, some of them addressed the bad breath issues.
One of them mentioned their own experience, saying, “If you can’t even talk to her, the actress must have really bad breath.” Then, they noted why they know so much about it. They added, “There’s a reason I get irritated whenever my husband is around.”
Apparently, “He smells like ashtrays and feces, but he doesn’t realize it.” So, they gave everyone some advice, noting, “…if you smoke, you should really make sure your teeth are clean.”
